  • Hi Techs..
    Hopeless na ba to? I've checked if there are loose objects inside pero wala talaga ako makita.. kahit pieces of paper na nakasingit wala.
    I searched for fixes online pero lahat ng nakikita ko para sa purge counter lang..
    Help please??

    These are list of brother printer error codes, cause and possible solutions for Brother Inkjet Printer DCP and MFC Series. These error codes mean machine problems. In many cases, the machine will require service.
    Please refer to the following table to check the error code displayed on the LCD.

    The machine does not work due to a paper jam.
    Clear the paper jam
    40,42,43,44
    The internal temperature is too high.
    Unplug the machine from the AC outlet and if possible cool the room where the machine is located.

    The ink absorber pad is full and needs replacing.
    Replace Waste Ink Absorber pad then perform this procedure forDCP Model or MFC Model
    48
    There is a problem on the print head,
    Please contact Brother Customer Service.
    49
    The internal temperature is too low.
    Unplug the machine from the AC outlet and if possible warm the room where the machine is located.

    There is a problem on the print head.

    Clear the paper jam. If the problem still continues after clearing the paper jam, try to clean the encoder strip behind theprinter head

    This Reset Procedure is for Brother MFC Series Printer
    Problem: Brother MFC Printer display 'unable to clean' or Error 46 Solution:
    First turn of the printer
    Switch on the machine while holding down the “menu” button until all the leds are flashing on/off. Now you are in “maintenance” mode.
    Press 80
    Press the “mono start” button several times until you see “purge: xxxx”
    Press “2783” in order to reset the purge counter. You will see: “purge:0000”
    Press the 'stop' button.
    Press “99” to exit the maintenance mode.

One day I've encountered about this error 'Clean unable 50' displaying at my Brother DCP 195C screen. Immediately I search online for the needed solutions. And luckily I've found one.
The following are the procedure on how to fix the 'Clean unable 50' error of the Brother DCP 195C printer.
1. Plug in the printer and turn it ON.
2. Usually the error display's on screen, Press OK.
3. Then press MENU.
4. Press MONO.
5. Press the UP ARROW four(4) times. Then you notice that the ATTENTION LED and the PHOTO CAPTURE button are simultaneously blinking.
6. Enter 80 to go to maintenance mode. When encoding the numbers (80) follow this:
- press UP ARROW button until the number 8 appears. press OK.

- press UP ARROW button until the number 0 appears. press OK.
7. Next, press continuously the MONO button until the 'Purge:________' appeared.
8. Now, enter 2783 by doing the same procedure on step 6. The counter will be reset.
9. Press STOP/EXIT.
10. Enter 99 by doing the same procedure on step 6 to exit Maintenance Mode.
The printer will automatically restart and works normally.
